This year, on July 17, lakhs of medical aspirants will take the NEET exam in order to pursue medical courses in their dream institutes. This exam is not only mandatory for Indian students but also for students who have done their education abroad and wish to seek entrance into pan-Indian medical institutes. The main criterion is that the candidates must have passed Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, and Chemistry in their Class 12 or equivalent studies. Also, the candidates must be 17 years of age at the time of medical admission. As per the recent amendments, the upper age limit has been removed. NEET Exam Procedure
This highly competitive national-level exam is conducted by an efficient body called NTA (National Testing Agency). Why is the NEET Cut-off Important?
